2. Principles of Data Processing

We process personal data only to the extent necessary and solely for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. Data is shared with third parties only if this is required to provide the service or if we are legally obliged to do so.

3. Use of Story Frame

a) Answering the questions

When using Story Frame, you answer structured questions about your startup, project, or idea. These inputs are processed to generate a coherent story.

The content you enter may include project- or company-related information. You decide which information you provide.

b) Personal data processed

As part of using Story Frame, we process the following personal data:

First name
Email address

This data is used exclusively to deliver the generated result and to communicate with you in connection with your use of Story Frame.

4. Analysis of Click Source (Tracking)

This website collects limited information about the source from which a page view originates (for example: direct access, social media, or referral links).

No comprehensive user profiles are created
No behavioral tracking or marketing tracking is performed
No advertising or marketing cookies are used

This analysis serves solely to understand, in anonymized form, through which channels users become aware of the service, in order to improve reach and discoverability.

Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in analyzing and improving the visibility and reach of the website).

5. Tools and Services Used

To provide Story Frame, we use the following tools and services:

Tally

Tally is used to collect the answers entered by users. Data is transmitted and stored in encrypted form.

Make

Make is used to automate workflows, such as forwarding data between systems and triggering the story generation process.

Airtable

Airtable serves as a database for temporarily storing entered content as well as first name and email address. No additional personal data is stored.

OpenAI

To generate the story, the entered content is transmitted to an AI service provided by OpenAI. Processing is carried out exclusively for the purpose of generating the requested output.

Story Frame does not use the submitted content for training purposes.

Gmail

The generated story is delivered via email using Gmail. Your email address is used solely for sending the result.

6. Payment Processing with Stripe

Payment processing is handled by Stripe.

Stripe processes payment-related data independently, including in particular:

Name
Billing address
Payment information
Country (for VAT calculation)

Story Frame does not receive full payment or credit card details. VAT calculation and compliance are handled directly by Stripe in accordance with applicable legal requirements.

7. International Data Transfers

When using certain services (such as Tally, Make, Airtable, OpenAI, or Gmail), it cannot be ruled out that personal data may be transferred to countries outside the European Union or the European Economic Area.

In such cases, data transfers are carried out on the basis of appropriate safeguards in accordance with Art. 46 GDPR, in particular through the use of Standard Contractual Clauses, where provided by the respective service providers.

8. Purpose of Data Processing

Your data is processed for the following purposes:

Provision and operation of Story Frame
Generation and delivery of the requested story
Payment processing
Technical operation and optimization of the service

9. Data Retention

Personal data is stored only for as long as necessary to provide the service or to comply with legal retention obligations.

Content-related data may be anonymized or deleted once it is no longer required for the intended purpose.

Your data is shared with third parties only:

as part of the technical provision of the service
